Planning an Event is an exciting experience. Our welcoming expert team is here to assist and guide you in creating a customized and personal event. Whatever the event or special occasion, we are confident that our on and off-site services,  beautiful private event spaces, and authentic Italian and Mediterranean cuisine has something for everyone and will make your next event a memorable and tasty success.

We’ll put together a custom buffet that will impress your guests and provide the catering services you need to enjoy the occasion, whatever it may be.

On-Site Events

We have two private indoor rooms and a large outdoor patio for you to choose from for your next on-site private event. From birthdays and baby showers to your dream wedding, our onsite events include everything needed to make your event a special unforgettable one. We provide tables, chairs, linen, plates, and silverware. We set up, and the best part of all, we clean up after every event.

Off-Site Events

Are you hosting an event at your home, office, or another venue? Mama Mia’s off-site Event Services, such as Full-service Catering, are the perfect addition to making your event a success! Choose from a diverse menu from Italian to Mexican and BBQ. Our off-site catering includes chafing dishes for hot food, plates, and silverware. Along with professional staff to set up, serve, and clean during your event.

Booking F.A.Qs

How many days or weeks in advance does an On-site or Off-site Event need to be booked?

  • The earlier, the better, certain seasons can get booked months in advance.
  • For off-site events, a minimum of two weeks’ notice is required to book. However, please reach out to the Event Coordinator for events less than two weeks out for more information.

Minimum party size for On-site Private Events?

  • The minimum party size for on-site private events is 25. Less than 25 can still have private events but may become a sit down dinner with a limited menu as opposed to buffet style.

Minimum party size for Off-site Events?

  • The minimum party size for off-site private events is 35.

What is the Off-site Event radius? How far will you go?

  • Typically, venues and residential homes in Morgan Hill and Gilroy. We have gone beyond that before but may not have the flexibility to do so. Please inquire for more information on events outside of the Morgan Hill and Gilroy area. Travel Fees may apply.

What are the types of events Mama Mia commonly hosts?

  •  Our most common types of events are birthdays, anniversaries, retirements, wedding receptions and ceremonies, company holiday parties, celebrations of life, and baby showers.
